This book is for you if you really want to get a good degree. It’s different from most of the other study skills books around in that the primary focus is on what you can do to ensure that you get a good degree, not just any old degree. However, just using your copy of the book won’t get you that good degree by magic. Only you can work your way to that degree, but this book can help you work out exactly how you can get your brain into top gear and increase the odds of your final result being a good one. So in particular, my aim is that this book will help you get your head around how higher education actually works, and in particular how assessment in higher education works.
