This libel, directed at Jews as individuals as well as at a mythically unified, archconspiratorial entity, was a protean weapon in the Nazi arsenal. It was the stuff of Nazi patter, platitudes, and policy. The following study details this dimension of the persecution of the Jews and analyzes its part in stimulating and rationalizing gratuitous violence and murder.
