Should readers choose to do so, however, they will discover much about the political history of our nation and the role played by the vice presidents. They will also, of course, discover a wealth of interesting facts about these men, from the titillating public innuendo about William Rufus King’s sex life to the otherworldly dreams of Henry Wallace.
